24th annual Australian model expo:

Over the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend here in Australia (9th to the 11th of June), the 24th Annual Model Expo incorporating the Australian Open Plastic & Scale Model Championships were held at the Sandown Racecourse in Melbourne.

I took this opportunity to finally enter some of my kits in a competition that was not internet based (as I have entered in the past). I decided to only enter four of my kits :

Guncannon
SD Z'Gok
Zudah
Kampfer vs GM

From these four, i managed to snare a Commendation Award for my Kampfer vs GM diorama, which was entered in the Vignettes Category. Sure, I would have loved to win one of those shiny trophies that they were handing out, but I'm still stoked that I received a Commendation Award!

Below, on the left is the Commendation Certificate I received, while on the right is the Participation Certificate which I received four of (one for each kit) :

For those people who exhibited their kits at the Expo : If you see your kit in the photo gallery and do not want it shown on my site, then please by all means contact me and I'll remove the picture straight away.

I am certainly looking forward to next years event and here's hoping that this time next year I have a few trophies!
